Dr. Shou has an extensive background in the medical industry, both professionally and educationally. After receiving a MS in Pharmacology and Ph.D. in Radiation Medicine and Toxicology, John was a post-doctoral fellow at both The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine.

He then went to Maker Cell Technology, where he became an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator before moving on to Chief Medical Officer and Head of Research and Development. John is also a Chief Scientist for the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at Baylor College of Medicine and Assistant Professor in Baylor’s Department of Medicine, where he performs critical roles in research projects for cell therapy and drug discovery.
